NetKeen 2: Reloaded

NetKeen 2: Reloaded is a modern Windows remake of the 1998 Visual Basic 5 / OGE engine test demo NetKeen 2. The demo was very basic, so I've been able to add a bunch of improvements to it, while keeping it true to its simple nature. It features:

• - Random level generator
• - Level editor with multiple map size options
• - 2 player local death match. Players can shoot up themselves
• - Controllers support

So basically that's a very simple platformer with Commander Keen aesthetics.

Controls:

• Arrows / A D / numpad 4 6 - walk (in 2P, player 1 uses arrows only)
• WASD (2P) - player 2 walk / look
• Q / Left Shift (2P) - player 2 jump
• E / F (2P) - player 2 shoot
• Numpad 7 9 1 3 - walk diagonally (left/right)
• Z / Alt / Ctrl - jump (tap short, hold higher)
• Space / X / Ins / Numpad 0 -  plasma shot (hold Up to shoot upward; Down in air to shoot down)
• Up / Numpad 8 - look up (camera pans)
• Down / Numpad 2 - look down (camera pans)
• M - music on/off
• Options > Sounds -  sound effects on/off
• Backspace - show/hide lollipop count/score
• R -  restart level (1 player only; 2P use pause Restart)
• F / Alt+Enter / F11 - fullscreen
• Esc - pause / resume in game; back on title
